I’m fortunate that my work is very creative and does not require me to dress a certain way. While my style is on the more casual side, I always dress for the occasion. On any typical day, I may be in front of the camera (or behind it), meeting with a client, hosting an event, or running errands. Some days I don’t get out of my pj’s until the early afternoon because I’m buried in emails! I’ve partnered with Express to show off one of my favorite “Work” looks this season.
Regardless of my To Do List, you will almost always find me in Pants. . They are my favorite article of clothing. I’ve been wearing dress pants from Express for years and recently found my new “power pants“. These skinny pants are perfect for when I need to look pulled together for a meeting or an event, or when I’m craving a chic daytime look. They fit like a glove and remind me of my beloved black skinny jeans.
I Love these sleek pants because they work well with every shape of top whether it’s a blouse or tee – boxy or fitted. A jacket is the one thing that really makes me feel put together. I never leave home without one because you never know when a restaurant or meeting room is going to feel like the dead of winter. Over the years, I’ve learned it’s best to dress for air conditioning rather than the weather.
My favorite part of this look is that it’s simply a more elevated version of what I wear on most days.
